We have received a great response so far and entries are flowing in across all categories! However, there a few categories in particular we'd love to see more to help really showcase the fantastic range of businesses in the Rochford District, so the Council are extending the deadline to enter, to allow businesses more time after the Christmas break.
The closing date for entries to the Rochford District Business Awards in association with Toomey Motor Group is now 9pm on Sunday 21st January 2024.
We welcome entries in particular IF:-
- You are a business employing an Apprentice - please highlight the great benefits of having one.
- An SME employing 10 or more people - make your employees proud to work for a business that could potentially be awarded the best.
- Or if your business is leading the way in innovation in your particular sector, developing something new.
- Or making carbon reductions to champion sustainability.
WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU AND CELEBRATE ALL ACHIEVEMENTS.

We were in a tough category and were shocked and delighted to win Rochford District Council Micro Business of the Year 2023! As a small family business, we had never entered any awards previously. I can honestly say that it was the best thing we could have done.
The actual awards ceremony is wonderful. We networked with such inspiring businesses and enjoyed a delicious meal at Apton Hall in Rochford.
