On the 4th May 2023, District and Parish elections were held across the District.
Elections for Rochford District Council were held in the following wards:
Downhall and Rawreth, Foulness & The Wakerings, Hawkwell East, Hawkwell West, Hockley, Hockley & Ashingdon, Hullbridge, Lodge, Roche North & Rural, Roche South, Sweyne Park & Grange, Trinity & Wheatley.
The Parish Council seats for the following areas: Ashingdon, Barling Magna, Canewdon, Foulness Island, Great Wakering, Hawkwell, Paglesham, Stambridge and Sutton were uncontested.
The results were announced at Clements Hall Leisure Centre, Hawkwell. The full list of results is now available at: www.rochford.gov.uk/electionresults
The Returning Officer, Jonathan Stephenson, would like to thank everyone who was involved and contributed to the election process.
Tomorrow is a historic day as we celebrate the coronation of King Charles III and Camilla, the Queen Consort.
We wish them a joyful and memorable ceremony.

We're extending free parking in our car parks from 10am on Saturday, to help residents mark the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III.
If you're attending an event on Sunday or Monday, don't forget that all carparks owned by Rochford District Council are free on Sundays and Bank holidays.
