Todays' latest bulletin statement from Rochford District Council, in relation to COVID-19, is now available, including the new national restrictions which will apply across England from Thursday 5 November and the extension of the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme until December.
It is acknowledged that many businesses are about to enter a second forced closure, however we thought it was still worth circulating the following courses:-
Coastal Pathways is a fully funded training programme provided by Adult Community Learning (ACL) in Essex coastal areas, designed to support the retail and hospitality sectors, who are about to enter a second lockdown.

Coastal Pathways Customer Service - A FREE 3 week Customer Service online course which will enable participants to progress onto the NCFE Level 2 Customer Service.
Participants will develop essential knowledge of how to carry out customer service tasks such as how to manage information and support events including:
• Principles of Customer service delivery
• Communication
• Understanding customers’ needs
Principles of Team Leading - In this FREE 6 week Principles of Team Leading course, participants will receive a unit accreditation from NCFE. They will complete self-study for 6 weeks with 2 taught tutor online sessions during this time, with topics including:
• Taking control of personal development
• Communicating clearly and confidently
• Engaging and supporting your team
• Building positive and productive relationships at work
