FREE Courses for the Retail and Hospitality Sectors on the Coast

Coastal Pathways is a fully funded training programme provided by Adult Community Learning (ACL) in Essex coastal areas, designed to support the retail and hospitality sectors, who are about to enter a second lockdown.

If you or your staff would benefit from upskilling in areas including Customer Service and Team Leadership, see below to find out more.

Coastal Pathways Customer Service - A FREE 3 week Customer Service online course which will enable participants to progress onto the NCFE Level 2 Customer Service.

Participants will develop essential knowledge of how to carry out customer service tasks such as how to manage information and support events including:
• Principles of Customer service delivery
• Communication
• Understanding customers’ needs

Principles of Team LeadingIn this FREE 6 week Principles of Team Leading course, participants will receive a unit accreditation from NCFE. They will complete self-study for 6 weeks with 2 taught tutor online sessions during this time, with topics including:
• Taking control of personal development
• Communicating clearly and confidently
• Engaging and supporting your team
• Building positive and productive relationships at work
