Rochford District honour fallen servicemen and women

Rochford District Council are placing their soldier silhouettes at three spots in the district giving people a chance to remember all those killed in the First World War and subsequent conflicts.
The soldiers will be stationed from 8th November 2019 at St Andrew’s Church, Rochford, St Nicholas Church, Great Wakering and The Royal British Legion in Hockley.

Approximately 40 business representatives attended a breakfast event at The Chichester Hotel, Rawreth, where they heard from a locally based, two times Queens Award winning business, Excalibur Screwbolts. They also had a presentation from Colbea, who have just joined up with Rochford District Council to offer a range of business support services which have the potential to enable local businesses to develop, grow and benefit the local economy.
