If you missed the event, you can use any sturdy bag or purchase a waterproof ‘dry bag’ from an outdoor store. Make sure it’s easy to carry and big enough for your essentials. Store it somewhere accessible, ideally upstairs and add its location to your flood plan. Let everyone in your household know where it is.
