Footsteps for change!
A community walkabout took place on 5 June 2025, led by Ward Councillor Cusworth, accompanied by representatives from Housing and Street Pride and a local resident. The group walked around the Fitzwilliam Estate identifying, discussing and reporting local issues for action, and scoping potential new and exciting projects for the estate. Watch this space.
Why not join us for the next walkabout and help shape your neighbourhood? Contact nicole.mighali@rotherham.gov.uk for more details.

A potted history: Echoes of Rockingham
Join us at Waterloo Kiln and Pottery Ponds for a free fun-filled Flower and Nature Family Day!
Discover a stunning display of plants, flowers, and Rockingham-inspired ceramic art by artist Adele Howitt. Get hands-on with nature-themed creative activities for all ages, including a clay workshop.
This special event is part of our exciting collaboration with young designer Sam Dryell, who has created a unique Rockingham-inspired Garden for the Wentworth Woodhouse RHS Flower Show. The display will reuse some plants, flowers and artwork from Sam's RHS garden, giving it a new lease of life at Waterloo Kiln, before we donate the flowers to local community groups and organisations.
Don’t miss this chance to explore, create, and celebrate nature with the whole family. All for free!
