The Rustic Pizza Co. visited Forge Island this week to see how the build is progressing and to see the windows going in on their new restaurant. It's looking great so far!

Building work is on track at Forge Island in Rotherham as the flagship development enters the final months of construction ahead of opening to the public towards the end of summer 2024.

The historic Chapel on the Bridge will be open from 10:30 to 13:30 tomorrow (Saturday 3rd February).
There's lots to find out about this little gem and you can even take a trip down into the crypt/jail. Books and homemade cakes will be on sale too.
Don't forget it's free parking in all council town centre off-street car parks every weekend.

Rotherham Council has made five grants of up to £1500 available to support event organisers to deliver their own Rotherham Town Centre events in March 2024.
Grants can help pay for artist fee’s, material costs, venue hire, covering catering costs or cover logistical costs like PA equipment or traffic management.
You can apply to cover a range of events such as live music, theatre and dance performances, creative workshops, pop-up film screenings, small-scale markets and festivals, street parties, art installations, food & drink events and more.

The Signals Festival is just around the corner and will fill Rotherham with music including music-making workshops, gigs, concerts, immersive sound sculptures and more!
As part of the festival there will be a Signals Saturday Shindig on the 17th February in the town centre. All Saints' Square will play host to AMP-UP, an all-day, all-ages celebration of Rotherham's most brilliant young performers!
