It's that time of year again when lots of potholes start to spring up all over the borough, and we need your help to ensure they are assessed by the Council as quickly as possible!
If you spot a pothole when you're out and about, we would really appreciate it if you could report it to Rotherham Council as soon as you are able (provided it is safe and legal for you to do so).
You can do this via phone, call the Council's switchboard on 01709 336003, or using this online form.
Once your report has been submitted you will receive a reference number and a member of staff from the Council's Highways team will assess the pothole and decide on the appropriate course of action within five working days.
With your help we hope to keep the number of potholes to a minimum, and prevent larger ones forming.

Back in October Ward Councillors were delighted to join staff from the Council's Elections Service and Neighbourhood team to put on a school election at Thurcroft Infant School.
Ward Councillors attended this fantastic event which saw pupils from across the school vote for the School Council representatives.
Pupils had the chance to put themselves forward as candidates prior to the election day, and to explain to their classmates why they deserved to represent their peers.
Following an action-packed morning of last minute campaigning and voting, Ward Councillors were delighted to announce the results, as well as to present the school with £250 of National Book Tokens, the spending of which will be decided by the newly elected School Council.
Ward Councillors would like to extend their thanks to the school, especially Mrs Oxtoby, for taking part, and to the Council's Election Service for organising the election.

It may not officially begin until next year, but the Rotherham Children's Capital of Culture 2025 is already hotting up with the Signals Festival paying a visit to Wickersley Library this February Half Term.
Back by popular demand, the Signals Festival aims to fill Rotherham with music. It will see young artists perform 30-minute pop-up sets around the borough, with two of the planned performances set to take place at Wickersley Library on Wednesday 14 February, 11.30am - 12.30pm!
The young artists will be performing straight after the conclusion of the library's baby and toddler group, Rhymetime.
Entry is free and the event promises to be a fun-filled session suitable for all ages. If you're planning to attend Rhymetime, or you'll be in the area please call in and support our local young musicians!
It is important to know the laws around electric scooters so they can be enjoyed safely and in the right way.
Please note, electric scooters cannot be ridden on roads, pavements, or public spaces such as parks. They are classed as an 'uninsured vehicle' and can be seized by the Police.
You can only ride the scooters on private land with the landowners permission.
Further information on electric scooters can be found on the Government website

Earlier this month, new fencing was been installed on Brampton Avenue using Ward Housing Hub funding.
The project aims to improve the visual appearance of the street, and plans are already in the works to install similar railings on the other side of the street when funding allows.
The Ward Housing Hub provides Council tenants with an opportunity to get involved in their local area and help shape their community.
You can find out more about it and suggest a future project here.
