Plans are underway to improve the public spaces around Upper Millgate and Corporation Street, a key gateway between the Forge Island leisure development and the town centre.

The aim is to create a more pedestrian friendly area, with green spaces and seating, as well as enhancing the crossing points.

Find out more and give your views on the plans at a public engagement and consultation event on Tuesday 28 November, from 10am to 2pm at Upper Millgate (in front of Minster Gardens).

Just a reminder that while work to develop the markets and library continues, the outdoor market has temporarily re-located to Effingham Street.

Have you visited the Museum of the Moon?

Flux Rotherham have teamed up with Rotherham Minster to bring this amazing touring artwork to the town centre.

Measuring seven metres in diameter, the moon features 120dpi detailed NASA imagery of the lunar surface. It is also accompanied by a mix of events and activities.

The Museum of the Moon closes on 30 November and free tickets can be booked here.
