In total there are 59 different activity sessions planned right across the borough this summer, which is the most since Rotherham Healthy Holidays first began in Easter 2021. Every Rotherham Healthy Holidays session includes a meal.

Adult Social Care Consultation is Live

Adult social care news graphic

Rotherham Council is seeking to update its adult social care priorities for the borough. To achieve the best outcomes for people, we recognise the importance of putting the person at the heart of everything we do. That means involving people in the things that matter to them and making sure we design our services based on the views of people who need them. We want to make sure that everyone is treated fairly and equally, and that no one gets left out. Please take part in our online survey.

If you would prefer to complete this in person or on a paper form, we have a series of drop in events across the borough. Full details can be found on the Rotherham Council website here

Public Space Protection Order Consultation is Live

Public consultations have opened on the Public Space Protection Order that covers Rotherham Town Centre and Clifton Park, and the borough-wide order on dogs.

These two orders, that deal with anti-social behaviour and dog fouling and are due to expire in September 2023.

Maltby Neighbourhood Plan Consultation is Live

Maltby Town Council has put forward a Neighbourhood Plan for the Parish of Maltby to Rotherham Council, where it will now undergo public consultation, prior to independent examination.

Neighbourhood planning enables communities to play a much stronger role in shaping the areas in which they live and work and in supporting new development proposals. Once a neighbourhood plan is in place, decisions on planning applications will be made using both the Council's local plan and the neighbourhood plan and any other material considerations.
