One of our beautiful hidden gems, the Chapel on the Bridge, will be open tomorrow (4 March), from 10:30 to 13:30. We highly recommend a visit to see the historic crypt/jail. Books and refreshments will be on sale too.

Visit the Friends of Rotherham Chapel on the Bridge Facebook page for more details about this much loved landmark.

Forging Ahead

Progress is continuing on Forge Island and it's great to see the new fencing up around the site highlighting what's coming to the town centre.

To find out more about the hotel, cinema and restaurant development, visit the Forge Island website here.

Crafters & Makers Market returns

March

The monthly Yorkshire Crafters & Makers Market makes a welcome return on Saturday 11 March along Effingham Street.

There will be a selection of unique and handpicked goodies available from local makers, artists, crafters and bakers. Don't forget it's free to park every weekend in Council-owned off-street town centre car parks too.
