The Forge Island development has reached another milestone as the old footbridge across the River Don has been removed to make way for a brand-new walkway!

The new pedestrian bridge will transport visitors to the leisure scheme on Forge Island, as well as connecting to Riverside Gardens and the wider town centre.

Join in the fun at the Women's EURO Fan Parties

It was a fantastic day on Sunday for the first UEFA Women’s EURO game and Fan Party in the town centre, and we can't wait to do it all over again!

Come along to the Fan Parties on Monday 18th and Saturday 23rd July from 2pm to 6pm, and enjoy live music, walk-around entertainment, football activities and lots more.

You're still welcome if you don't have a match ticket although you can secure your match tickets from just £10 for adults and £5 for concessions here.

Our amazing town centre cafes, bars and eateries will also be open if you fancy grabbing a bite to eat or a drink or two.

The countdown is on for the WOW Rotherham Festival this weekend at Clifton Park.

WOW Rotherham is a vibrant, fun, and fearless festival celebrating women, girls, trans and non-binary communities, connecting Rotherham to other women and girls across the globe as part of the WOW – Women of the World family.

There will be so much to do, from excellent speakers, workshops, and art performances to live music, poetry and dance sessions. All topped off with a beautiful marketplace area filled with female makers and organisations.
