If you are struggling to heat your home because of energy costs, there is help available. You may be able to claim financial and practical help with heating your home. Grants available include the winter fuel payment and the cold weather payment.

RotherFed Energy Know How
A community based project open to residents across Rotherham who need support to reduce fuel bills, advising and guiding people on how to heat their homes for less. We deliver training sessions in community venues, provide one to one support; both face to face and over the phone/online, and coach/train volunteers to become Energy Champions. Citizens Advice Rotherham and District
We can help with a whole range of energy matters including: how to reduce your energy bill, finding the cheapest energy supplier and tariff, dealing with fuel debt, helping to negotiate affordable payment arrangements, grant applications, information on grants for insulation and other energy efficiency measures, budgeting for future energy usage, understanding your energy bills, and setting heating controls

Age UK Keeping Well This Winter
Age UK Rotherham offer general advice in respect of energy awareness, help to maximise income and offer a signposting service where applicable. Our ‘Winter Wrapped Up’ guide has tips on staying warm and well at home. Guidance on reducing your energy costs can be found in our ‘Save Energy, Pay Less’ information guide and ‘Help with Heating Costs’ factsheet. Recharge Energy Advice Project
Live Inclusive is a Disability Charity which provides one-to-one support to enable residents to manage their energy usage and costs more effectively, including understanding tariffs and energy bills; and learning how to save energy and costs.
