Join us this Friday in Rotherham Town Centre to welcome in the festive season!

From 12pm there will be a Gift & Craft Market along Effingham Street. The ideal place to pick up some Christmas presents.

Then from 5.30pm the fun really starts with music from Sheffield Community Gospel Choir and vintage singer Miss Trixie Holiday, plus fun with Heliosphere, The Lips, Roller Skating Illuminated Presents, the Celestial Sounds Cloud and much more!

Lots of our lovely businesses will be open late too so please show your support and shop local.

Don't forget it's also free to park in council-owned car parks from 4pm.

If you're visiting the town centre on Saturday, there will be plenty of Christmas cheer with music by the tree in All Saints' Square from 12 noon to 2pm.

Dinnington Colliery Band will be playing at 12 noon and 1.30pm, and the Care Home Choir will be treating us to a digital performance from 12.30pm to 1.30pm.

Plus it's still free to park every weekend in all Council owned off-street town centre car parks.

We're delighted to welcome Geek Retreat Rotherham who are opening very soon in our town centre.

Geek Retreat is a retailer, gaming cafe and events hub rolled into one. Their vibrant store will offer an inclusive, welcoming and social environment to meet, eat, trade and game.

The grand opening takes place on Saturday 11 December at 10am at 18 Howard Street.
