The white rose is synonymous with Yorkshire, so why not make yourself one to wear with pride on Yorkshire day. You can make your Yorkshire rose out of anything – yarn, felt, material, paper, whatever you like!
If you fancy making a few more white roses, Rotherham Markets will be featuring a White Rose Cascade for Yorkshire Day this year and are looking for people who are willing to make and donate roses to be part of their display.
Ann’s Candy located on the first floor of the indoor market hall is collecting the roses or you can post them to: RMBC Events Office, 27 Howard Street, Centenary Market, Rotherham, S65 1JQ.
