Hooton Levitt Anti Off- Road Vehicle Barrier
Maltby Ward Councillors, Cllr Beaumont and Cllr Rushforth, have been working with Police and Council Officers to tackle anti-social behaviour of off-road vehicles for the residents of Hooton Levitt.
Residents met with Councillors, local Police and Public Right of Way Officers to identify off-road vehicle access points. Public Right of Way then funded and installed a bespoke barrier.

You must not leave, or be outside your home unless it is necessary, which includes:
- shopping for basic items.
- going to work or volunteering, if you cannot reasonably do so from home.
- exercising with your household, support bubble or one other person (limited to once per day and only in your local area).
- meeting your support bubble or childcare bubble where necessary, but only if you are legally permitted to form one.
- seeking medical assistance or avoiding injury, illness or risk of harm (including domestic abuse).
See the government website for detailed guidance and visit the coronavirus pages on the Rotherham Council website for information about changes to council services and how to get further support if you or someone you know needs it.

Be Cancer Safe
Be Cancer SAFE is part of the Social Movement in Health initiative, commissioned by the Rotherham Clinical Commissioning Group and based at Voluntary Action Rotherham. You can follow us on Facebook and Twitter.
Cervical Cancer Prevention Week - 18 to 24 January
Cervical cancer mainly affects sexually active women aged between 30 and 45.The best way to protect yourself is by attending Cervical Screening when invited. Almost all cases of cervical cancer are caused by HPV, a very common virus that can be passed through any type of sexual contact with a man or a woman.
Abnormal bleeding does not mean you have cervical cancer, but you should see a GP as soon as possible to get it checked out. It is important to know the signs and symptoms and to contact your GP if you notice a change.

Census 2021 is coming and it needs community support
The Census is a survey of the whole population of England and Wales it takes place every 10 years and it is next happening on 21st March 2021. It gives us a picture of all the people and households in England and Wales. The census is run by the Office for National Statistics (ONS).
Rosie Campbell is the Census 2021 Community Engagement Manager for Rotherham and Barnsley, she would love to hear from community and third sector organisations who can help by sharing information and raising awareness about Census 2021 within their communities.
The ONS have produced digital and printed resources that Rosie can share with you, these include social media content. She welcomes any community groups or third sector organisations who would like to help, or who simply want to discuss the Census, to get in touch with her. Email rosemary.campbell43@field.census.gov.uk or phone 07452941597.

Help us to Help Rotherham!
The Primary Care Networks in Rotherham, working with Rotherham Clinical Commissioning Group, are gearing up to deliver Covid Vaccinations in Rotherham in the new year and really need your support.
Getting everyone vaccinated against Covid will be a huge undertaking and will be an exercise unlike anything that this country has ever attempted before, in an incredibly short time scale.
We need your help to make it happen.
We need our community to come together and support us in this unprecedented task.
We hope to be running several Vaccination Centres across Rotherham, with one as a drive through and will initially need Marshals and Stewards at all these. In addition, there may be other roles as this work develops.
If you would like to hear more, please email roccg.rothhealthvolunteers@nhs.net
If you have a clinical background and may be able to help vaccinate, there is a national scheme to register your interest and receive the appropriate training. For more information on joining the NHS Covid-19 vaccine team visit the NHS website.
