Green Garden Waste

We've scheduled social media posts for the next few weeks, and the Green Garden Waste service has also been featured in e-news. Details were also published in the spring edition of Redbridge Life.

Easter/May Bank holiday bin collections: 

We've scheduled posts on the Easter collections and the first two May banks holiday collections. Easter collections are also being shown on several council digital screens in Redbridge libraries and leisure centres, on Nextdoor, and also featured in our recent edition of  e-news.

Hoardings for the affordable homes 

The programme has been completed and we are now going through the final stages of sign off (PDF 792KB) before installation in approximately two weeks. These hoardings will be up across sites including Shakespeare Square, Heathcote and Glade, Little Gearies and Loxford Lane to name a few.

Marlyon Road new homes

Great news, the completion of 48 new homes as part of phase 2 and 81 units in total, took place last week. The site was visited by both the Leader and Cllr Solanki, who met with families who’ve recently moved into the newly built properties, as well a grand tour of the completed work. We are promoting the work on social media and the Redbridge website. 

Gants Hill campaign

Next week we will begin a media and social media campaign to support the multi-agency work to tackle aggressive street begging in Gants Hill.

#ThisHasToStop

We are working with Community Safety colleagues to prepare for the 'It's the Law' strand of the #ThisHasToStop campaign. We are also currently compiling content for the women's safety microsite.
