Responsible dog ownership
We are supporting Civic Pride with comms around responsible dog ownership. This week we have issued a story around the increased number of complaints we are getting about dog fouling and our subsequent crackdown on irresponsible dog owners. It was also an opportunity to highlight our existing Dog Control PSPO and the wider dog control orders under it. Content is also going across our digital platforms and the story has also been issued to local media.
Green Garden Waste (GGW) Collection resuming
We are supporting Civic Pride with comms to promote our Green Garden Waste collection restarting in April. Content has been shared in print in Redbridge Life as well as digitally including community social platform Nextdoor and our own social media. We have also been sharing messaging on the limit of five bags per collection and how to present GGW for collection.
Court prosecution
We have been drafting comms to promote our latest successful court prosecution relating to a person who fly-tipped 38 tyres in Redbridge. Content will be going out, including to press, next week.
Easter bin collection changes
We are supporting Civic Pride with raising awareness of Easter bin collections changes and have placed the message across several council tv screens in libraries and leisure centres.
Repair Week workshops
We have promoted a series of repair workshops on social media from Transition Town Ilford in support of Repair Week.
Wall of Shame
We continue to promote the March edition of Wall of Shame and are working on the April edition.
