The adjustment 1 headcount task will be available on the provider portal from Monday 11 May 2026. If you experience any password issues that need resolving, contact the Synergy Support Team at synergysupport@portsmouthcc.gov.uk.  

The deadline for submission is Friday 22 May 2026.

Providers must complete the adjustment 1 headcount task if there are any changes to their previously submitted actual headcount claim. This may include children starting or leaving your setting or increases or decreases to funded hours.

If a child is joining, leaving, or changing their funded hours, ensure that:

  • Start and/or end dates are completed in the funding details section.
  • A clear and detailed explanation of the change is provided for the Early Years Funding Team.
  • Entries are recorded under the correct funding section.

You can view your previously submitted headcount tasks and payment summaries on the Synergy Portal. Any payment adjustments will be made by the end of August 2026.
