Portsmouth SEND Local Offer is now inviting schools, academies and colleges to book their place at Moving Forward. HPV vaccine campaign |
|
 |
In Portsmouth, the uptake of the HPV vaccination is significantly below the national target to help eliminate cervical cancer by 2040. But together we hope to improve uptake. Cancer Matters Wessex is one of the key partners. They have shared campaign material to help improve uptake of the HPV vaccine which can help prevent against a number of cancers for females and males.
There is also PSHE material available on the PSHE Association website.
Cancer Matters Wessex Facebook page and Wessex Cancer Alliance Instagram page have started to share material which can be shared. If you are able to share on your channels, that would be great.
There is a YouTube playlist for all the HPV vaccine videos we will be utilising, including the latest parent video, should you wish to create your own content as well.
Social media ads will start from Tuesday 2 February 2026 across Southampton, Portsmouth, the Isle of Wight, Weymouth, Portland, Boscombe and Bournemouth.
