The Harbour School - Ofsted inspection |
The Harbour School, part of Delta Education Trust recently received their Ofsted report following the inspection in December 2024. They were pleased that improvements in all areas were recognised by the Ofsted inspection team and in particular the strength of the pastoral support embodied in the report's opening line "This school is a lifeline for many pupils."
The report also states "Leaders have reorganised the school, redesigned the curriculum and stabilised staffing. A coherent and ambitious curriculum is now in place. This supports teachers in knowing what to teach and when and is driving improvements in the quality of education for most pupils." The united commitment to support Portsmouth's most vulnerable pupils is evident in The Harbour School's embracing of rapid improvement.
