 On behalf of the Early Years team, we would like to wish you all a very Happy Christmas and let's hope that 2024 is a good year for the Early Years sector. It has been a pleasure working with you all this year. It is not easy navigating all the constant changes in our sector, but I am always so impressed by the resilience of our early years staff, your creative thinking, the extraordinary care and education that you give our families and children in the city, and your constant 'can do' attitude to the multitude of difficulties that you are faced with.
We see you; we are here for you and we will support you as much as we can moving forward into the year where the extended entitlements will be rolled out.
Thank you is simply not enough - we appreciate your dedication and hard work so much.
