 Following the governments announcements around the new funding entitlements of 15 funded hours for working parents of all 2 year olds from April 2024, and for all working parents of 9 months and over from September 2024, extending to 30 hours from September 2025, we need your help in order to find out how much more childcare capacity we will need to have in Portsmouth in order to meet the new demand. We would be extremely grateful if you could complete this survey which will then inform our data analysis and help us to support any providers in the city who are interested in expanding their provision, and finding suitable properties that may be available to rent or buy. If you would like any support to complete this survey, please do contact your QSO who will be happy to assist. We would be grateful if you could send your completed forms back by 22 September 2023. Whilst this is not mandatory to complete it will help us shape the future of childcare provision in Portsmouth and is extremely important in ensuring we will have sufficient places and staff to deliver the new entitlement offer, and therefore we please ask that you help us with this.
