Get Active, Portsmouth! presents a summer of free family fun at a park near you! Their events will help you be more active, get fitter and discover more of the city, helping you ditch the car for a cheaper, cleaner way to travel.

You can catch the activity days at a different park every week between 3 and 17 August. At the events - in Buckland, Cosham and Baffins - you'll find free, fun activities to get you on the move. Test your cycling skills on the obstacle course, get moving with Nordic Walking, blend up a delicious healthy drink on the smoothie bike, or make new friends by joining a walking and cycling group.

Plus, there's fantastic face painting and cycle training for the kids, free travel giveaways and the chance to win a free bike and accessories at every event!

Revamped for 2022, the popular annual treasure hunt returns this summer. Stomp for Stamps is a great, free, fun adventure for children and families, keeping children's minds and bodies active while they search for the Pompey Monsters and their friends, hidden in four of Portsmouth's open spaces.

To get started, pick up a map book from any local library. To take part, children must walk, cycle or scoot to complete at least three of the routes, each led by a different Pompey Monster. Along each route they'll need to stop to capture a monster and its animal or insect friends by taking a rubbing and returning the completed sheet to a library, in exchange for a sticker.

Once children have at least three stickers in their book, they can collect a Pompey Monster prize from the library. This year there's a choice of great prizes including a cotton drawstring bag, great for days out!
