We're looking for your views to help us improve various cycling and walking routes in the south of the city.
Our proposals include:
- improving the cycle route along Goldsmith Avenue
- developing a better walking route from Fratton to the city centre
- making the cycle route along Winston Churchill Avenue better.
If more people walked and cycled instead of using their vehicles, there would be less traffic congestion, which would help create cleaner air. Walking and cycling helps to develop healthier lifestyles, lifting mood and improving fitness.
If you run a sports club in the city and want to appeal for new members or share some positive sporting news please get in touch and we will try and include it in a future bulletin. Photos also welcomed if you have permission to use).
