There are no changes to your usual recycling, rubbish or food waste collections this festive season.

Please put your rubbish and recycling out by 7am. If you miss your collection, you can take it to the Port Solent household waste recycling centre. It's open seven days a week, except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. You will need to book your slot.

There will be changes to some other services, such as the green waste club. Head to our festive waste page for full details and how to recycle your Christmas tree.

It's easy to recycle your small electricals

Remove any glass and batteries and pop your small electrical items in a carrier bag. Place it on top of your recycling bin (not inside!) and we'll collect it as we empty your recycling bin.
