Hungry for change? Food waste action week 2021

food waste action week 2021 - email banner

4.5 million tonnes of tasty food is wasted by UK homes every year. Let's take action and stop wasting the valuable resources that went into making it including water, land and greenhouse gases.

For Food Waste Action Week (1 – 7 March 2021), we’re calling on everyone to understand the true value of food and start new habits. Whip up tasty leftover recipes, use up edible broccoli stalks and potato peelings, store food the correct way, and spread the word to ensure that no food that could have been eaten goes to waste.

We've partnered with Love Food Hate Waste to spread the word about how to waste less food.

Everyone can make a difference, and something as small as saving your leftovers and encouraging friends and family to do the same means you’re doing your part. So, if you’re hungry for change, find out how you can get involved and help our planet.

Take action
