What to recycle at home

Most of us recycle lots during and after Christmas but are we getting it right?

You can put greetings cards, cardboard boxes from packaging, food and drinks cans, plastic bottles with lids and empty aerosols out with your recycling.

Please put wrapping paper and unwanted decorations in the bin as a lot of it contains plastic and cannot be recycled.

Recycle Right

Glass bottles

Other waste

The dates for other waste over the festive period are also different. Make sure you're not caught out by checking the dates for bulky waste and garden waste so you can plan to put these out on the right days.

Collection of healthcare waste will take place as normal.

Take glass bottles, textiles and drink cartons to your local recycling bank
