Reminder: DFE data collection on Monday and Thursday

data

Each week on Monday and Thursday we are collecting the following data:

1. Number of Key Worker children attending your setting on a Monday and Thursday.

2. Number of vulnerable children attending your setting on a Monday and Thursday.

3. Total number of children attending your setting on a Monday and Thursday.

All the data is collected and sent to the DfE at 5pm on each of these days. Please send us your numbers before this time to eyfunding@portsmouthcc.gov.uk

We appreciate this is a extra task to remember and thank you for your support during this time.

send information

From the beginning of June, there will be a new referral form to complete if you want to request support for a child from the Health Visiting Team. Instead of calling the duty Health Visitor, you should complete the referral if you do not know the name of the child's Health Visitor.

New survey to understand impact of coronavirus pandemic on local businesses

survey

The University of Portsmouth, working with the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Local Resilience Forum (LRF), has launched a new survey to help understand the initial impact of the coronavirus pandemic on local businesses in our area, and more importantly where further support might be needed, and where opportunities can be created. As part of the LRF, organisations from across Hampshire and the IOW are working together to help businesses and the local economy to recover and thrive.

Please help by completing the survey, which will take about 10 minutes. Click here.

Safe travel

As schools start to reopen, the Department for Transport has created a set of communication assets for councils and others to share through their communication channels. These will help them to communicate to parents and children the guidance about cycling or walking and explain to those that need to use public transport how to do so safely. These are available from the DfT's extranet site.
