Do you want to know more about the purpose and function of LADO and how to respond to allegations against staff who work with children?
If so, there is a free three hour LADO workshop being held for managers of staff and volunteers working with children. During this session you can:
- Understand the role of LADO and how it fits with your role
- Know when to refer to LADO
- Improve your skills and confidence in responding to allegations and concerns against staff
- Learn how to develop safe plans when there are allegations or concerns regarding staff working with children.
You will receive a certificate on completion of evaluation online.

There are spaces available on the Portage Small Steps to Learning for Children with SEND, this training helps to reinforce and complement other SEND training.

The Safer Portsmouth Partnership offer a free Domestic Abuse training course for those professionals working with members of the public or those at risk of domestic abuse.
This training course has recently been revised to combine the existing ‘victim’ and ‘perpetrator’ focused training. The training course title is “Responding to Domestic Abuse”
