portsmouth revisited

Portsmouth Revisited opens 21 September featuring over 50 views of the city from the eyes of artists like Tissot (on loan from the Tate), Turner and Rowlandson. The oldest painting dates back 300 years and the coastal panorama by Hendrick Danckerts dated 1675 is on loan from Her Majesty The Queen and is on display for the first time over 100 years.  

The free exhibition runs from 21 September - 2 February 2020 at Portsmouth Museum. Check the website for more details and museum opening times.
