The headcount task will be available on the provider portal from 16 September 2019. In order to avoid late submissions please make sure that your current log in details are working, contact us at eyfunding@portsmouthcc.gov.uk if you have password issues that need resolving. The deadline for submission is 27 September 2019.
All providers claiming early education funding for their two, three and four year olds will need to complete the task. Providers will need to confirm the information submitted on the forecast task, and inform us of changes, which may include children starting or leaving the setting or an increase/decrease in funded hours.
To view your previously submitted forecast task please see Provider Portal user guide. Any adjustments to payments will be made by the end of December 2019.

On the 23 May 2019 Alison Jones, Early Years Funding Outreach Officer, achieved her twenty five years' service award. Alison has worked in a variety of roles across the council including managing Southsea Library, and supporting children's outreach. Alison also supported families in her time as front line receptionist at Buckland Children's Centre. Congratulations on this amazing achievement! |
Solent NHS are delivering Parenting Drop-In sessions for parents of children aged 0-5 years. This includes support for adjusting to parenting, sleep and feeding routines, toddler behaviour and toileting. Sessions are held monthly in the following locations:
Paulsgrove Family Hub: The first Tuesday of each month.
Milton Park Family Hub: The second Wednesday of each month.
Somerstown Family Hub: The third Thursday of each month.
 Children can become brave explorers this summer by hunting down stamps to unlock hidden treasure, a cuddly Stomper toy. Children are encouraged to walk, cycle and scoot around the city guided by a Stomp for Stamps map book. Pick up a book from any library or the reception desk at the Civic Offices to get started.
