Saturday Music Club
Our new Saturday Music Club is open to any young player over 6 years old. The music is fun and accessible to beginners and more confident players. You don’t have to play an instrument to join! Parents/carers stay and are encouraged to learn a new instrument too!
Dates & Times: Saturdays (11 Nov & 18 November) 10.30 - 12pm during term time
Cost: £5 per child or adult.

Saturday Painting Club
Our Saturday Painting Club runs during term-time on Saturdays from 10.30 am – 12.00 noon. It is open to all families who want to come along to BlueJam Arts Space on a Saturday morning to enjoy doing art activities together.
Dates & Times: Saturdays (11 Nov & 18 November) 10.30 - 12pm during term time
Cost: Saturday Painting Club is currently free to attend.

On the final Sunday of the month we run Penrith Jazz Jam at BlueJam Arts Space.
Friendly space for players of any level of experience to work through the jazz standards repertoire.

Dementia Friends Information Session
Become a Dementia Friend!
A Dementia Friend is somebody who learns about dementia so they can help their community.
This free information session is open to all.
We encourage attendance from staff of any business or service that wishes to be more dementia-friendly to better support clients and customers with dementia.
Everyone who attends will earn an Alzheimer’s Society Dementia Friends badge.
Date & Time: Tuesday 21 November 2023, 10:00-11:00

Talkin Tables Penrith
Talkin’ Tables Penrith is an initiative to try and tackle loneliness in the community.
Talkin’ Tables Penrith are on:
- Mondays, 10.30-11.30am, Booths Cafe.
- Wednesdays, 10.30-11.30am, The Little Griddle, Newton House, Newton Road.
- Thursdays, 10.30-11.30am, Cafe4EDEN, St Andrews Church yard.

Penrith Swift Group Talk
The Penrith Swift Group (in collaboration with Cumbria Wildlife Trust, Penrith Support Group and RSPB North Cumbria local group) are hosting a talk on Urban Biodiversity from renowned Swift expert: Edward Meyer.
The talk is free to attend, and is being held at the Quaker Meeting House, Penrith, at 7pm on Thursday 16th November 2023.
Edward is a charismatic speaker and it is sure to be a very informative evening. All welcome.

Come and try Wheelchair rugby!
As part of Great Britain Wheelchair Rugby "I CAN PLAY" campaign to recruit more people into the sport of Wheelchair Rugby, Penrith Pumas are hosting an open day on Saturday 18th Nov Penrith Leisure Centre between 11:00 - 14:00.
This is your opportunity to meet the club manager, meet some of the team and have a go.
