Apply to the Circular Electricals Fund
Material Focus invite applications from UK organisations, including start-ups, industry bodies, non-profits, universities and businesses working to extend the life of electrical products and their materials. The £1m fund offers funding of up to £150,000 per project. The deadline for applications is Thursday 14 August.
MSI Improving energy or resource efficiency in manufacturing
UK registered organisations can apply for a share of up to £2m as part of the Made Smarter Innovation Challenge (MSI) for feasibility projects to develop new industrial digital technologies leading to a more productive, resilient and sustainable sector. The competition closes on Wednesday 2 July.
 Plymouth celebrates Armed Forces Week
Plymouth Hoe will host a series of inspiring events from 26 to 28 June as part of Armed Forces Week, celebrating service personnel, veterans, and military families.
On Thursday 26 June, the Strength of Spirit Games returns, sponsored by AECOM and Defence Recovery, featuring an adaptive triathlon for 100 service personnel and veterans. The event will take place alongside the Junior Rowing Challenge for 150 children from military families, organised by the Plymouth School Sports Partnership, and sponsored by AECOM.
The week concludes with Plymouth Armed Forces Day on Saturday 28 June, a free family day delivered in association with Babcock International Group, featuring displays, activities, and live entertainment.
