Recycle it Global Ltd Expands Operations with Strategic Acquisition of Plymouth Port Facility
Recycle it Global (RIG), an innovation engineering company, driving technological advancements in solid and fluid waste sectors, announces the acquisition of Pomphlett Jetty in Plymouth. The acquisition will aim to transform the current cement and aggregate import and export site into a cutting-edge multi modal port facility.
RIG plans to design, build and commission a modern port and facility that will have the capability to process up to one million tonnes per annum of solid and fluid waste streams from land and sea. The facility will use advanced mineral processing technologies to convert dredged sediment into reusable materials, significantly reducing the environmental impact of traditional dredging and eliminating the need for offshore disposal.

Altilium, a UK-based clean technology group focused on supporting the transition to net zero, is pleased to announce the visit of Councillor Tudor Evans OBE, Leader of Plymouth City Council, to its new state-of-the-art EV battery recycling plant in Plymouth today, as the company embarks on the next phase of its ambitious growth plans.
The cutting-edge facility, the first of its kind in the UK, is poised to play a crucial role in the city’s commitment to sustainability, creating new green jobs and attracting international investment to the region.
The 18,000 square foot facility will use Altilium’s proprietary EcoCathode™ technology to recycle old lithium-ion batteries from electric vehicles (EVs), helping to reduce waste and recover the critical metals needed to power new EV batteries being built in the UK.

Adopting Net-Zero Solutions in the South West’s Building Industry
