 Pathway to Net Zero Business Support
The Pathway to Net Zero programme has been designed to provide free support for Plymouth-based businesses to adopt more environmentally conscious processes and move towards becoming net zero.
Funded by Plymouth City Council through the UK Government's Shared Prosperity Fund, the programme will provide a mixture of one-to-one sessions, workshops, and self-learning resources.
SWIG Funding for the South West
The SWIG Finance Team are delighted to report another successful year in funding many smaller businesses with growth ambitions across the South and South West.
In 2023/24, they delivered 580 loans to start-ups and growing SMEs with lending worth £14m.

The free short course is an introductory version of the full Help to Grow: Management course to reach even more small businesses.

Supply Chain Accelerator
The Crown Estate launches £50m marine supply chain accelerator fund. £50 million Supply Chain Accelerator fund to help catalyse UK supply chain capacity and capability for offshore wind. The application process opens formally in mid-June and closes at the end of July. Successful projects will be announced from October 2024 following assessment of applications, negotiation of funding agreements and necessary approvals.
BridgeAI Supply Chain Demonstrator
UK registered organisations can apply for a share of up to £2 million in grant funding to deliver AI demonstrator projects. These projects are intended to benefit efficiency in supply chains and increase firm level productivity.
