Plymouth Charter Summit - Tues 6 Feb
We want to ensure that Plymouth businesses are equipped to get through hard times. Over the past 3 years we have had to be flexible, review our working methods and adapt to change. So what have we learnt, how are we responding to the cost of living crisis, and how can we share this to make for a fairer, greener future for all of us?
We’re inviting Plymouth signatories and other employers in Plymouth to come together - a solid collective - to gain knowledge, discuss and provide answers to our hardest challenges and issues. Many of us are struggling with the same problems.
We will design the day around your feedback. What do you need help with, or what can you provide solutions to? Please complete our short survey.

The Heart of the South West LEP’s latest Economic Dashboard analyses data across key issues including productivity, innovation, digital connectivity, business, and employment, to give a picture of the area’s economic performance and productivity, and inform priorities going forward.
Whilst productivity has grown slightly stronger in recent years, it’s not enough to close the ‘productivity gap’. There remains significant differences in performance across different parts of HotSW, with new data confirming the picture of underperformance in many rural and coastal towns. The area has long-standing structural challenges, as well as fantastic opportunities to address them.
E-cargo bikes, a game-changer in first/last-mile logistics, often go unnoticed. This oversight hinders the transition to eco-friendly city logistics. Awareness of their benefits remains limited due to the scarcity of accessible information and support. Yet, cities have a unique chance to promote low-carbon alternatives. This event seeks to bridge this gap by raising awareness and offering hands-on e-cargo bike experiences.
Join us and explore the world of e-cargo bikes and take them for a spin. Through open surveys, we aim to pinpoint the needs they fulfill and their potential in Plymouth's sustainable first/last-mile logistics.
Let's unlock the potential of e-cargo bikes in transforming city transportation.
