New Plan for Homes

Five thousand new homes will be built in Plymouth over the next five years.

Council Invests in Future of City

Council Invests-

Two development schemes that will revitalise Plymouth city centre and lever in £55 million of private investment are to get crucial support from the Council.

Barbican Theatre and The Plymouth Athenaeum Launch PL1 Partnership

Barbican Theatre and The Plymouth Athenaeum are delighted to announce the launch of PL1 Partnership to develop The Plymouth Athenaeum as a vibrant theatre, music, comedy, dance, lecture, and screenings venue.

UK Finance Launches Campaign to Help SME's Prepare for Change in 2019

UK Finance has launched a national campaign encouraging small and medium-sized enterprises (SME's) to prepare for the potential changes and opportunities brought about by the UK’s departure from the EU. Plymouth to Trial Innovative New Sea Bin to Tackle Plastic Pollution

Sea Bin

A new ‘Sea Bin’ is to be trialled as part of the city’s ongoing commitment to tackle plastic pollution.

A Sea Bin is a floating rubbish bin that can capture annually 90,000 plastic bags, 35,700 disposable cups or 16,500 plastic bottles. It is one of the latest projects to be developed to support the Plymouth, Britain’s Ocean City Plan for Plastics, led by the city’s Plastics Taskforce which is made up of a range of local partners.
