Tenant Perception Survey - your comments from 2023/24, and now open for 2024/25!

In April 2023, the Regulator of Social Housing introduced a new set of Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSMs) which we are required to report on a yearly basis.

Last year we conducted our First Tenant Perception Survey which captures the majority of the TSMs we are required to report on.

As part of this survey tenants were able to provide additional comments on how well we are performing at providing good quality homes and housing services.

We have compiled a summary of the comments we received and our response to these, which you can read below.

Enjoy the Olympic action in South Wigston!

Bring a camping chair or a blanket and head down to Blaby Road Park for a day of Olympic action!

Enjoy the games on our big screen and get involved in a day of activities including soft javelin/shot put, football, and family vs family games on Saturday 10 August!

Clean Up Days this summer!

Our Housing team have been busy at our Welford Road and Newton Lane flats and Junction Road/Maromme Square and Burgess Street estate helping residents to clean up communal areas.

Our Community & Wellbeing team have also been in attendance to share what's going on locally - and hand out some goody bags!

The team will be bringing the day to other estates over the summer, the following dates are booked in!

Thursday 1 August: Boulter Crescent - 9am to 3pm

Tuesday 6 August: Countesthorpe Road - 10am to 12pm

Thursday 8 August: 6 to 16 Churchill Close - 12pm to 2pm.

Our Tenant and Leaseholder Forum enables our tenants and leaseholders to proactively be involved in helping us improve our landlord services and ensure that we are shaping our services based on our what our tenants and leaseholders need.

Our new Damp, Mould and Condensation Policy

Following a period of consultation earlier this year, we have now published our Damp, Mould and Condensation policy.

The purpose of this policy is to set out our approach to dealing with reports of damp, mould and condensation within a council property or building.
