You will have a transport manager or responsible person. This person will often have to combine this role with other duties.
They will need to take regular operator licence awareness and other courses to make sure their knowledge is up to date.
It’s easy to miss something if you are stretched too thin. If they have other duties, you need to make sure they have enough time to carry out their transport management duties.
