At Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS), we’re asking for your views on how much Council Tax you’d be willing to pay towards your fire and rescue service for 2027/28.
Our services are vital for keeping our communities safe, and Council Tax is a significant source of funding for KFRS — currently covering around 66p in every £1 of the service’s day-to-day budget.
Right now, a Band D household in Kent contributes around £1.91 a week towards KFRS, which is around 4% of your overall Council Tax bill.
We want to hear from you...
Please take a few minutes to complete our short survey and tell us how much Council Tax you think should be paid towards KFRS.
The survey closes on 15 January 2027.
