Appeal Great Dunmow
We’re investigating an incident which was reported to us in Great Dunmow during which a young man sustained a dog bite. The victim, aged in his late teens, had become involved in an altercation with two other young men in Woodlands Park Drive, close to a footpath which leads to Tesco. It took place shortly after 4.30pm on Wednesday 3 December. One of the unknown suspects had a large black dog with him, which slipped its lead and bit the victim’s hand, causing injuries which required hospital treatment. Both suspects then left the area. We’d like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or may have CCTV or doorbell footage of it.

I know someone who drinks and drives all the time, what should I do?
You should report the person to the police or if you wish to do so anonymously via Crimestoppers. The information that the police require before they can act is the registration number of the vehicle involved, the person's name, description and if possible the address and details of any regular journeys that this person makes e.g. every Thursday night at approximately 23.30hrs B leaves the pub and drives the same route home.
With the information you have provided, the police can then potentially wait for the vehicle somewhere along that route to stop the car.
