News 10 July to 16 July
 A BIG Thank you!
To everyone who stopped by Canvey Island Police Station on Saturday 13 July and engaged with our various teams, including Community Policing, Firearms and Marine unit. We also had specialist CBRN kit available for the community to look at, uniform to try on and finger printing and a treasure hunt for the young ones. We also had an officer in a 'red man' defensive suit who was 'arrested' multiple times.
We all had a great fun day, it was very busy and we hope we were able to answer the many questions posed by those who attended.

I have got a court summons for driving offences, but I was not stopped by the police/do not own that car/don't drive, what can I do?
Although it was not you that has been stopped by the police, you must still go to court. This is to make a statutory declaration (a sworn statement) to that effect. The court will then adjourn the matter back to the police who will need to make further enquiries.
It is important that you attend court otherwise a warrant will be issued. If you cannot make it on the day in question, contact the court to advise them.
