On 26 March we published the latest UK population estimates for mid-2022. This release includes national and subnational mid-year population estimates for the UK and its constituent countries by administrative area, age, and sex.
Use our interactive map to find out the proportion of the population in different age groups for each local authority in the UK. We plan to publish mid-2023 population estimates for England and Wales in summer 2024.
