Advance warning of SRS downtime for essential maintenance

To further support the ongoing improvement of the SRS infrastructure, major server upgrade work will be carried out on the SRS in early October 2023.

Please be advised that due to the complexity of the upgrade, the SRS will be out of service for two days.

The downtime is currently planned for Thursday 5 October and Friday 6 October, and on these days the SRS will be unavailable to all users with no analysis or other sessions possible.

Further information will be provided nearer the time; however, this message serves as advance notice to ensure all researchers are aware of this planned downtime.

Changes to SRS Customer Support opening hours

Over the past few months, the SRS Customer Support team have been reviewing the volume of contacts received during opening hours.

To make the best use of resource within the team, opening hours will change to 08:00 to 16:00 Monday to Friday (previously 08:00 to 17:00). This will remain under review.

These changes will take effect from Monday 4 September.
