The Office for National Statistics (ONS) has published the next phase of Census 2021 topic summaries for England and Wales looking at sexual orientation and gender identity.
It includes univariate data (one variable only) down to Middle Super Output Area (MSOA), where possible. Multivariate data (more than one variable) will be released in early 2023.

The Census 2021 results include data about the self-reported sexual orientation of people in England and Wales.
This answers questions like:

- how does sexual orientation vary across England and Wales?

The Census 2021 results include data about the gender identity of people in England and Wales.
