Date confirmed for Census 2021 topic summary on Welsh language skills
Today we can confirm the Census 2021 topic summary on Welsh language skills will be published on 6 December 2022.
This will include univariate data on Welsh language skills (speaking, reading, writing, understanding) down to Output Area (OA) level and data on Welsh language speaking skills, by age, down to local authority level.
Publications you may have missed
The first estimates of UK armed forces veterans from Census 2021 were published on 10 November 2022.
We published the demography and migration topic summary on 2 November 2022.
What’s coming next?
The Census 2021 ethnic group, national identity, language, and religion topic releases will be published on 29 November 2022.
The remaining topic summaries will be released in a rolling programme throughout December and early 2023, followed by multivariate data and analysis.
