They also provide free policy templates and other resources. Find out more about the free services here.
In addition they also offer free online AI courses to help you understand and use AI to manage the administration, strategy and fundraising of your organisation. Find out more about AI support here
We hope that you, or someone in your team, will take some time to check them out.

We know that you are at the centre of your communities and often you will be the first to hear about people who are struggling. The following two resources may be of use for you to share.
The Crisis and Resilience Fund (CRF) in Leicestershire is a government‑funded scheme (2026–2029) providing short‑term emergency support for residents facing a sudden financial crisis, with applications managed directly by Leicestershire County Council.
The fund is intended for one‑off crisis events, not ongoing low income. Applications are assessed individually and do not affect benefit status.
Examples of qualifying crises include:
- Disasters (fire, flood, property damage)
- Accidents causing immediate financial difficulty
- Sudden health crises
- Household relationship breakdown requiring urgent relocation
- Breakdown or loss of essential household items

First Contact Plus is an online tool which helps adults in Leicestershire find information about a range of services all in one place.
The initiative allows residents who require help with one or a number of issues to access a catalogue of information, advice, help and support.
Information and resources on housing, health, living independently, money advice, work, security and other topics that assist the county’s residents can be found on this site.
First Contact Plus is delivered by Leicestershire County Council in partnership with GPs, the police, health organisations, voluntary groups and social care departments, district and borough councils who are helping adults across the county by working together to make access to services much easier.
