Get set for The Great Big Green Week
The Great Big Green Week is about to begin, and everyone in the UK is invited to come #TogetherForGood to do something positive for their community, local nature and future generations.
This week is for everyone, not just those already involved in climate or nature organisations. From faith groups and schools to local businesses and community associations, anyone can host an event or join one near them.

Recycling more plastics with FlexCollect
Residents on our FlexCollect trial have done an excellent job of recycling over 66 tonnes of plastic bags and wrapping.
Flexible plastics collected on the trial, such carrier bags, crisp packets and pet food pouches, have been sent for mechanical recycling in the Midlands to be turned into items such as bags, buckets and crates.
More residents will be able to recycle their plastic bags and wrapping at home as part of the new recycling container system launching later this year. Until then, flexible plastics can also be recycled at most supermarkets.
Save The Date:
Run by The Wildlife Trust. Sign up to try one random act of wildness every day for the whole of June.
Be part of the plastic pollution solution and choose to re-use single use plastics every day.

Raising awareness of allotments helping people to live healthier lifestyles, grow their own food and make friends.
