Thank you for supporting our bin crews at Christmas, and throughout the whole year.
We've heard some lovely stories of kindness this month, with people baking festive treats and writing Christmas cards for our crews.
Thank you for helping to spread a bit of festive cheer!

 Finding your waste collection information
An update on our waste services review
Last month we promised to update you once we had more to say on our plans to introduce a new household recycling system to replace the current boxes and bags.
For several weeks we've been asking the government for updated guidance on its Simpler Recycling legislation before we could decide on what type of containers to use.
We understand that this has been frustrating for those of you patiently waiting for a change to your recycling collections.
We're pleased to say that the government has now provided updated guidance, which means we can continue with our plans as part of our waste services review.
The new guidance outlines that all councils across England will be expected to provide collections for residual (non-recyclable) waste, food waste, paper and card, and all other dry recyclable materials such as plastic, metal and glass.
However, the guidance also gives councils the flexibility to decide on the best systems to collect these different types of waste to suit local need.
We'll use the government's guidance, along with staff feedback and the nearly 20,000 responses you gave to our recycling container survey earlier this year, to decide on the new recycling system.
In the meantime, thank you for your patience. We hope to have more to share with you soon.
